Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Children's Administration staff in 46 field offices work with children and families to identify their needs and develop a plan for services which support families and assure safety and well-being for children. These services are designed to reduce the risk of abuse, find safe alternatives to out-of-home placement, and assure safety and permanency for children in care.

Casey Family Programs is a nationally recognized organization whose mission is to provide and improve, and ultimately to prevent the need for foster care.  The organization operates in two ways: 1) by providing direct services, and 2) by promoting advances in child welfare practice and policy.  Casey Family Programs is part of the national network of Casey organizations dedicated to helping build better futures for disadvantaged children in the US including the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Marguerite Casey Foundation and Casey Family Services.

Washington Association of Area Agencies on Aging is a membership organization made up of 13 Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) in Washington State. The organization seeks to enhance the effectiveness of each AAA through a strong agenda of information, debate, advocacy and education.
